In building your WordPress as a Content Management Site you’ll want to incorporate some or all of the following tools and themes to give your site the functionality and look you desire.
First things first. Go to WordPress.org and download the newest version of WordPress. This will be the basis cf your CMS platform.
Next we will list a few of the plugins available. These give added functionality to your CMS site. Each link will send you to WordPress’ own plugin download area. After downloading from their site you’ll want to come back here to go get your next plugin or theme.

WordPress.com Stats - You can have simple, concise stats for evaluating traffic.
All in One SEO Pack - Optimize your site for search engine ranking. This tool will help you bring traffic from the search engines.
Events Calendar - Display your events schedule with a really nice calendar.
Max Banner Ads - This is a versatile plugin that will help you manage, rotate, organize and track advertising on your site. Note: they charge for this plugin.
Header-Footer - This plugin lets you to add html code to the header and to the footer.
CformsII - contact form - Cforms is a highly customizable, flexible and powerful form builder plugin. Manage and create many forms for any purpose whether it’s a Contact, or Customer feedback, or an employment application this plugin is versatile.
